Colinsburgh Galloway Library

Colinsburgh Galloway Library welcomes you

feel at home
Memories of the lunch club

Who would have thought it?

Our library doors opened in 1903. That’s 114 years of people, books, learning and more.

Far from shutting the doors, we’re developing and growing.

Imagine, on 28 February 2017. Fife Council closed our library. From March 2017 we pressed on with ambition. On July 29, 2017, our community re-opened Colinsburgh Galloway Library once more.

Growing forward together

The library adventure, begun all those years ago, continues as we face new and exciting challenges.

Watch this space as we engage our local experts, people and supporters, and apply modern education and training technologies in support of our mission. Opening our doors is the next big step.

Haste ye back

We hope you’ll return, time after time and stay in touch with our unfolding story. All are welcome in our library and delightful reading room. cropped-library-logo_square-small.jpg
